Recirculating Air Filter

Replacement Interval

Filter replacement is recommended every 2 years or 30,000 miles. An earlier replacement interval is recommended in areas of high dust contamination.

NOTE:  The filter cannot be cleaned.

Replacement  Procedure

Cover with recirculating air filter. 
Arrows: Latches

Removal and Installation::

Turn latches (arrows) on recirculating air filter housing in passenger foot well 90° counterclockwise (open). To close during Installation, turn 90°
clockwise.

Remove cover with recirculating air filter (2) towards bottom.

Open recirculating air housing.

Remove recirculating air filter.

NOTE:  The recirculating air filter cannot be cleaned, it always must be replaced.

Installation is in the reverse sequence.
