Seat Belt Height Adjuster: Service and Repair

Replacement of Automatic Belt Height Adjusters on Driver's or Front Passenger Seat

Removal

Seat

move forward and up at rear.

Cap (4)

pull off toward rear.

Clip (5)

turn approx. 90° and remove.

End of control cable

remove from fixed mount (3) by pressing catch together.

Seat

move toward rear and up at front.

Footmat

lift together with damping element.

Screw (1) on control cable mount (2)

screw out.

Seat

loosen at front and lift, expose control cable and remove.

Seat

move forward.

Entry strips on entry

remove.

Edge protector on B-pillar

press off.

2 screws (6) on B-pillar covering at bottom (7)

screw out and remove covering upward.

Clips on B-pillar covering (8)

press in with screwdriver (arrows) and remove covering downward.

Control cable guide (9)

remove with screwdriver (arrows).
