Battery voltage below 9.5 V (undervoltage)

COMAND control unit is automatically brought into a defined standby condition in which only the further monitoring of battery voltage takes place. In
addition to this the current operating status is stored. In this condition, the COMAND control unit cannot be operated nor addressed via STAR
DIAGNOSIS. Communication with external components does not take place.

The following components of the MFL relevant for the COMAND system are read in by the steering column module via the steering LIN:
