Component Identification

Location

The telephone and GPS roof antenna is on the roof of the vehicle.

Task

The telephone signals are transmitted and received via the telephone antenna (A2/49a1) integrated in the telephone and GPS roof antenna. On vehicles
with code (228) Stationary heater, the signals of the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) are received and the confirmation signals of the STH
radio remote control receiver (A6/1) are transmitted via the telephone antenna integrated in the telephone and GPS roof antenna.
The Global Positioning System (GPS) signals for navigation and for the Telematic Alarm Identification on Demand (emergency call system) (TELE
AID), with code (494) USA version, are received via the GPS antenna (A2/49a2) integrated in the telephone and GPS roof antenna.
