5. Contact the black 8-pin coupling and black 4-pin coupling from the trailer hitch wiring harness (22) at the trailer recognition control unit (N28/1).
The couplings are coded.
6. Connect brown line (br) from trailer hitch wiring harness (22) to ground, right taillamp in luggage compartment (W7/1).
7. Route trailer hitch wiring harness (22) from the trailer recognition control unit (N28/1) along the vehicle's own wiring harness to the SAM with
fuse and relay module (N10/2) and fasten with cable ties.
The yellow length compensation marking of the trailer hitch wiring harness (22) must match the yellow length compensation marking of the
vehicle's own wiring harness (see arrow).
