Replace white plastic washer on bearing bracket (Figure 1) by first removing the E-clip and then the white plastic washer and then the white plastic
washer.

4.

Push shaft approximately 3 cm back.

5.

Clean the bore in the bearing bracket using engine/parts cleaner and wipe dry.

6.

Spray lock cylinder grease into the bore.

7.

Press shaft back into position.
