Component Identification

1. Route wiring harness for trailer hitch socket (20) to trailer recognition control unit (N28/1).
2. Contact white, 4-pin coupling, black 4-pin coupling and black 6-pin coupling from the wiring harness for the trailer hitch socket (20) on the trailer

recognition control unit (N28/1).
The couplings are coded.

3. Connect the brown line (br) from the wiring harness for the trailer hitch socket (20) to ground, right taillamp in luggage compartment (W7/1)
4. Tie back the wiring harness for the trailer hitch socket (20) onto the vehicle's own wiring harness using cable ties.
