Component Identification

Function

The rear air conditioning is controlled via the AAC [KLA] control unit. This is networked with the vehicle electronics via the interior CAN and via the
AC-LIN.This in turn makes it possible to incorporate additional climate-relevant influences, in order to improve the regulation quality and to lower
power consumption.

The AAC [KLA] control unit reads in the following signals for control:

Temperature at the evaporator through the rear air conditioning evaporator temperature sensor

Left rear air conditioning heat exchanger temperature sensor

Right rear air conditioning heat exchanger temperature sensor

via interior CAN

Operation of the rear air conditioning via the front central operating unit
