The reversible emergency tensioning retractors are located in the respective B-pillar.
task
The reversible emergency tensioning retractors perform the following tasks:

Reducing the existing seat belt slack

Fixing the occupants in position in the seats

Retain seat belt force

Release seat belt force
The reversible emergency tensioning retractors are connected via the chassis CAN to the ESP control unit (N47-5), which transmits the signal for
activating the reversible emergency tensioning retractors.
