ABC Visit Workshop Displayed in the Instrument Cluster with Fault Code 5202

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that ABC Visit Workshop" is displayed in the instrument cluster multifunction display and
fault code 5202 (B24/6 right rear body acceleration sensor signal implausible) is stored, the cause may be a software error within the ABC control
module. The error may result from the following conditions:

When driving at constant speeds of approximately 20 mph over bumpy surfaces for at least five seconds, the signals from the rear acceleration sensor
may be interpreted as implausible.

When driving up to speeds of approximately 20 mph while listening to music with heavy bass, the rear acceleration sensor can be influenced by the
subwoofer so much that the signals from the sensor are misinterpreted as being implausible.

Note:

In order to prevent unnecessary replacement of the rear acceleration sensor, be sure to specify with the customer the exact scenario that caused the
fault message to occur.

Given the above conditions, in order to remedy the problem perform a software update of the ABC control unit with Star Diagnosis.
