4. Check the transition (D) between the rear-end window (1) and rear edge of the roof with a straight edge (7).

The transition (D) should be flush and should not deviate more than 1 mm upward or downward.

5. Check gap between side splinter guard strips (4) and rear-end window (1).

Gap should be 1 to 3 mm.

6. Carefully lift rear-end window (1) with suction lifting device and cup suction tools.
7. Measure height of compressed plasticine balls (5).

The height of the compressed plasticine balls (5) is simultaneously the present gap dimension (C) between the top splinter guard strip (3) and
rear-end window (1).

8. Change height of rubber window spacers (2), according to gap dimension (C) measured.

Only when gap (C) is not within tolerance. Gap (C) should be 1 to 3 mm.
Ensure that transition (D) is flush or does not deviate upward or downward by more than 1 mm. If the gap dimensions (C) are not achieved when
the transition (D) is maintained, it is necessary to adjust the appropriate gap dimension (C) by removing or replacing spacer washers (8) (always
observe separate repair instructions).

9. Check gap dimensions (C) at top splinter guar strip (3) and side splinter guard strip (4) again and correct if required.

Only when it is necessary to correct gap dimension (C).

10. Mark installation position of aligned rear-end window (1), as shown, with two strips of adhesive tape (6).
11. Carefully cut through strips of adhesive tapes (6) at top of shaped rubber gasket for rear-end window 1).
12. Carefully lift rear-end window (1) with suction lifting device and cup suction tools.
