engine hood hinge, when the engine hood is opened or closed.

Reconnect electrical connector (12, Figure 3) for the washer fluid pump.

Attach washer fluid hose (5, Figure 4) to the washer fluid pump (M5/1, Figure 4).

21.

Remove plug and then push the washer fluid pump with the washer fluid hose attached carefully into the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

NOTE: 

Apply some water to the end of the washer fluid pump, to aid in inserting the washer fluid pump into the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

Close tie strap (11, Figure 6). NOTE: Applies to Model 220 only.

Reinstall cable duct cover (11, Figure 5).

24.

Reinstall cover (9, Figure 4) for SAM control module (N10/7).

25.

Reinsert omega clips (8, Figure 4) into recesses.

26.

Reinstall cover (4, Figure 4) at end of engine hood.

27.

Tighten screws (3, Figure 4) of cover (4, Figure 4).

28.

Fold down previously folded back overlapping section of engine hood insulation mat (2, Figure 4).

29.

Install clips (1, Figure 4) for hood insulation mat (2, Figure 4).

30.

Check washer fluid level in windshield washer fluid reservoir, replenish as necessary. See WIS Document: AP82.35-P-8210N.

31.

Perform windshield washer system function check, see WIS Document AP82.35-P-8252BA.
