Refer to Figure 2 for underside view of cover showing mounting holes (A, Figure 2) for torx screws and cover securing clips (Arrows, Figure
2).
6.
Remove trunk lock cylinder housing:

Remove housing cover (Arrow, Figure 3).
^
Disconnect trunk release cable (A, Figure 3).
^
Loosen two (T30) torx screws (Arrows, Figure 4)
^
Rotate housing (A, Figure 4) slightly (counter clockwise) and push through trunk lid.

Remove lock cylinder from housing:
