Rear Shelf: Service and Repair

Preliminary work:

Both rear seat cushions and rear backrests removed. See: Seats/Service and Repair 
Panelling on C-pillar removed. See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair 

Rear head restraints

put up.

Both rear head restraints

remove, for this purpose unclip covers (arrows) on head restraint mounting plate.

Arrest (arrow) on head restraint rod

press and simultaneously press head restraint toward rear.

Rear head restraints

remove.

Rear arm rest

fold down.

Rear shelf (1)

lift and remove toward front.

NOTE:  When removing and installing the rear shelf (1) pay attention not to damage other interior fittings with air vent grate (arrows).
