C. Side Skirts For Coupe/Cabriolet (Model 124)

Preparation

1.

Remove side panels (A and C Figure 15) by carefully levering with plastic wedge (110 589 03 59 00) and tugging gently to disengage panels from
clips.

2.

Open door and remove screws for side panel (B, Figure 15). Using plastic wedge (110 589 03 59 00) push panel towards rear to disengage it, then
remove from the door.

3.

Remove sill plates in door area.

4.

Remove mounting screws along upper and lower edges of original rocker panel cover. Pull gently to detach rocker panel cover. Pull clips out of
mounting sleeves.

5.

Press rubber seal out of rocker panel cover retaining slots using suitable tool.
