Oil Filter Housing: Service and Repair

PRECEDING WORK

Radiator removed.
Tensioning device removed. 
Left air cleaner with mass air flow sensor removed.
Power steering pump removed.
Rear engine compartment panel removed.

OVERVIEW

Connector (A9xl) of AC compressor:

Unplug, plug in.

TDC sensor (L1/1) from adjusting slide (10) and oil filter housing (1):

Unbolt, bolt on (step 2).

Screwcap (2) of oil filter housing (1):

Unscrew, screw on, allow engine oil to drain into oil pan, 20 Nm (step 3).

Oil pressure sensor (B5):

Remove, install (step 4).

Torsion bar (3):

Unbolt from front axle, bolt on .

Oil line (5) of automatic transmission at air-to-oil cooler lines (6) and (7):

Unbolt, bolt on (step 6).

Oil lines of air-to-oil cooler (6) and (7) at oil pan:

Unbolt, bolt on (step 7).
