Air Injection Control Valve: Description and Operation
PURPOSE
The right LH control module (N3/3) controls air injection via the air injection pump switchover valve (Y32). The switchover valve connects the
air injection shut-off valve (126) to vacuum from the intake manifold.
EGR Switchover Valve (Y27) And Air Injection Pump Switchover Valve (Y32)
LOCATION
The valve is located in engine compartment on passenger side front corner of vehicle.
OPERATION
When the LH control module energizes the switchover valve, the valve opens and vacuum reaches the air injection shut-off valve.
