Removing and Installing
Tensioning Rail
PRECEDING WORK
Timing case cover removed.
PROCEDURES
Crankshaft sprocket (1):
mark with colored dot relative to timing chain (4).
Tensioning rail (2) at bearing pin (17):
pull off.
Tensioning rail (2):
install, pay attention to colored marking.
Note
The plastic lining (18) (sliding surface) is clipped into the tensioning rail (2) and can be replaced individually.
The bearing pin (17) is knocked into the crankcase. Projection 40 mm.
