Take off right cylinder head cover and right front cover in order to remove the right guide rail.

REMOVING AND INSTALLING

Rotate crankshaft to 30° after ignition TDC at cylinder 1.

Note
In this position the camshafts can be rotated without the valves coming into contact with the piston crown.

Mark all four camshaft sprockets and the timing chain with dots of paint (arrows).

Remove chain tensioner.

Unscrew right guide rail (4): unscrew right exhaust camshaft sprocket (5), remove.
