Pull off profile gasket (arrows) together with cover (13).

Unscrew guide rail bridge (15) at rear, remove.

Clean sealing surfaces and contact surfaces on guide rail bridge (15) and coat with sealant 002 989 00 20 10.

Install guide rail bridge (15), screw in fitted bolts (16) with ground washers at bottom and bolts (17) at top. Tighten fitted bolts (16) first,
tightening torque 21 Nm.

Position timing chain on paint marks on camshaft sprockets.

Note
Turn camshafts with wrench 104 589 01 01 00.

Slide guide rail (4) onto bearing bolt (4a).
