If axle stub to be installed has not been tapped but does have core bore hole, using a suitable tap, cut a 8 mm thread in the core bore

Insert drilling bush (039a) and lock with fixing bolt (039c)

 8 mm Diameter Drilling Bush and Tapping Bush (Fixed)

a. Screw drilling fixture (039) onto the shaft journal of the rear axle shaft (37) and clamp in a vise.

b. On axles with a 26 x 1.5 mm thread, using a 4 mm drill, drill core bore hole to a depth of (a in illustration) approx. 20 mm, cooling and

lubricating the drill in the process.

c. Remove drilling bush (039a) with fixing bolt (039c).
