a. With hydraulic extraction tool No. 202 589 04 43 00:
Using components parts (010b, 010d, 010f) of extraction tool and drift punch (010x) of extraction and pull in tool No. 140 589 08 43 00,
or equivalents, and a suitable press
b. With mechanical extraction tool No. 140 589 03 61 00, or equivalent:
Press out rear axle shaft flange (10) using removal/installation tools (010) and a suitable drift (010x) with a hydraulic press.
NOTE: Diameter of drift punch (010x) must be approx. 2 mm smaller than rear axle shaft flange diameter
3. Remove the two row angular ball bearing inner race from axle flange as follows:
a. Screw correct collet chuck onto puller tool No. 001 589 50 33 00, or equivalent,
b. Secure axle shaft flange in a vise with suitable soft jaws
