Variable Valve Timing Solenoid: Description and Operation

Camshaft Timing Adjuster

PURPOSE

The camshaft solenoids (Y49/1 and Y49/2) enable the LH control units to specifically tune the intake valve timing for improved torque,
volumetric efficiency, and driveability.
