Note:

A round rod with a diameter of 18 mm can be used for measuring the clearance needed between the brake hose and the wheel. The round rod should
not touch the brake hose and wheel simultaneously. If the minimum clearance (20 mm) is correct, proceed to step 7, otherwise proceed to step 6.

6.

Turn wheels to right. Turn brake hose holder in wheel well, slightly toward the front of the vehicle (approx. 10°) (Figure 4).

Note:

(Perform measurement below with wheel turned to the left stop)
The minimum clearance between the brake hose and shock absorber should not be less than 5 mm. Check brake hose clearance again as described in
test step 5.

7.

Upon completion of work, mark front brake hose fitting on the brake caliper side with a colored dot (ensure brake hose fitting is clean then mark
with touch-up paint).

Note:

After completion of the campaign, write the recall number 97-0413 and the dealer code on the appropriate location on the recall sticker
(LZ-2605-093) and affix the recall sticker to the driver's door A-Pillar.
