Remove Parking Brake Pedal and Bracket

Release parking brake front cable from automatic adjuster under rear seat cushion

AR42.20-0520-01B (C17)

1.

Remove rear seat base cushion.

2.

Remove cover (12i) for parking brake cable automatic adjuster.

3.

Preload automatic adjuster by turning locking eccentric pin (g) approx. 1/2 turn clockwise while pressing rearward until eccentric locks into spring
clip (d).

Caution

During reassembly, release automatic adjuster by lifting spring clip (d) with screwdriver.

4.

Remove tensioning spring (94).

5.

Remove cover (93b) of parking brake cable retaining pin.

6.

Remove cable retaining pin (93a).
