Installation Note

The slot of the follower (4) must engage in the locating pin (arrow) in the camshaft. Tightening torque 16 Nm.

Remove guard cover (2) together with seal (3).

Press out radial seal (1) with a screwdriver.
Do not damage camshaft and mounting hole for radial seal.
Use a clean cloth as a base,

Fit insertion sleeve (7) 103 589 01 14 00 onto camshaft.

Coat sealing lip of radial seal with engine oil.
Do not use grease! Grease prevents the sealing lip of the radial seal transporting back the engine oil.
