In sequence, push out thrust ring (70d), disk spring (70e) and new lock plate (92e) with the retaining lugs towards the locking nut
5. Screw on locking nut (92d) and tighten securely to: max. 0.15 Nm (tighten slightly by hand)

Check steering shaft for ease of movement

The steering shaft must not have any axial plate in the jacket tube and it must be possible to turn it without binding
