Wheels: Description and Operation
Continental Tire System (CTS):

The Continental Tire System (CTS) is a tire system capable of use for emergency running.
Special disc wheels are used on which the tire abuts the radial inner side of the rim shoulders. Support rings (43e) prevent the tire coming off the disc
wheel in the event of air loss.
Even with complete loss of air, a distance of up to 200 km can be covered at a maximum speed of 80 km/h. The inside of the tire is supported by the rim
shoulders when this happens.
The tires cannot be replaced with the normal workshop equipment. Therefore replace the wheels completely. Complete wheels are available for this.
