Attach both suction cups to window

Center window in window cutout with aid of second mechanic and move so that strips of tape coincide.

Position window on glue bead and press down until it makes contact with the rubber windshield spacers.

NOTE:  Open side window in car to prevent the windshield from being pressed outwards by the air pressure when a door is closed.

NOTE:  Install windshield within 5 minutes before adhesive force of glue begins to decrease.

NOTE:  The curing time is approx. 1 hour measured from the time the window is installed.

Cutting Out Windshield With Cutting Blades

Clamp blade (124 589 40 63 00) into multi-cutter (2).

Moisten whetstone and sharpen blade on both sides with machine switched on.

Cut out windshield all the way around from outside.

NOTE:  If it is not possible to cut all the way through the glue with the blades available use cutting wire.
