Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair

Preliminary work: 

Front bumper removed.
Right lamp unit removed, refer to "Replacing Headlamp Unit". See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Service and Repair 

Removal

Filler pipe (4) with bolt

unscrew and take out.

Lines to heat exchanger with screws (1)

slacken and pull off.

4 bolts on engine compartment lining below washer reservoir. 

unscrew.

Washer fluid indicator (2)

withdraw.

Washer reservoir with nuts (3)

unscrew.

Washer reservoir

take out downwards.

Washer pump

withdraw.

Installation

Installation is performed in reverse order.

NOTE:  Coat filler pipe (4) at reservoir with lubricant (e.g. soft soap) to ensure the rubber seal does not drop into the reservoir when the filler
connection is pressed into the reservoir.
