Remove the cover (A, Figure 1) on the bottom of the trunk lid by removing the three 4.2 mm sheet metal screws (Arrows, Figure 1).

Disconnect the trunk lid remote control button (B, Figure 1), if so equipped.

6.

Remove the trunk lid paneling (C, Figure 1) by releasing the retaining clips securing it.

7.

Disconnect the power supply connector (A, Figure 2) from the lamp in the trunk lid paneling.

8.

Disconnect the power supply connector (B, Figure 2) from the emergency release switch for the trunk lid in the trunk lid paneling.
