Remove the retaining bracket for the trunk lid lock by removing the three M6 screws (Arrows, Figure 3).

10.

Remove the slotless machine screw from the license plate panel by removing the MS nut (A, Figure 3) on the trunk lid interior.

11.

Detach the linkage rod (A, Figure 4) from the trunk lid lock (C, Figure 4).

12.

Disconnect the wiring (B, Figure 4) from the trunk lid lock (C, Figure 4).

13.

Remove the license plate.
