AR68.30-P-4300-04M Prepare Headliner For Installing Parktronic System Warning Display In Rear

monitoring (only with ATA).
1. Lay old headliner (1) down on suitable subsurface.
2. Remove PTS installation frame (7) from old headliner (1).
3. Loosen main wiring harness (6) and felt strips (2) from old headliner (1) in cutting area (3, 8) and lay down to side.
4. Fabricate template (4), for this purpose, saw through old roof paneling (1) approximately in cut area (8) and then approximately in cut area (3).
5. Lay new headliner (1) down on suitable clean subsurface.
6. Support new headliner (1) in area of cutout for PTS installation frame (7) with suitable spacers, e.g. foam rubber or Styrofoam blocks.
Do not use any hard or sharp-edge objects, otherwise the covering of the new headliner (1) can be damaged.
This prevents the new headliner (1) from bending when performing the following steps
7. Lay template (4) down on new headliner (1), align and transfer cutout for PTS installation frame (7) from template (4) to new headliner (1)
