Cut the wire tie (A, Figure 14) securing the solder joint for the ground wires.
17.
Unravel the tape (B, Figure 14) from the solder joint and the brown ground wires.
18.
Cut off the solder joint from the brown ground wires.
19.
Strip off 1/2 inch of insulation from the ends of all the brown ground wires.
20.
Solder spice (A, Figure 15) the stripped ends of the brown ground wires together with the stripped end of the white, masking-tape-flagged ground
wire (A, Figure 12) coming from pin # 1 of the connector of the newly made wiring harness.

Twist the solder splice onto the wire ends.
