Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
AR42.30-P-0712I Remove/Install Left or Right Front RPM Sensor
Item 6a Fixing bolts of VSS sensor.

Replace bolts.
Item L6/1, L6/2 Front axle VSS sensor

Check wheel hub rotor for damage.

Pay attention to cleanliness of magnetic tip.

Secure cables for VSS sensors with cable straps so that they are not damaged when the suspension moves towards bump and rebound.

Lubricate, bore in steering knuckle lightly with long-term grease.

Tighten self-locking bolt, front axle VSS sensor to steering knuckle: 25 Nm
Item X62/6, X62/7 Front axle VSS sensor connector

Press clip in direction of arrow.

Pay attention to correct routing of components.
