DANGER:

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 degrees C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour
coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Reduce pressure in cooling system

NOTE:  To do this, turn radiator cap into position "1"and reseal.

Drain coolant, pour in

Remove front seats

Remove rear AC control module (N22/4)

Remove center console (1)

Spit back left and right floor covering

Unscrew bolt (2), close heat exchanger

Separation point of coolant lines to rear air conditioning heat exchanger:  8 N.m

Unplug connector (3)

Unscrew bolt (4), detach refrigerant lines (5)

NOTE:
1. Plug openings (parts kit)
2. Installation:  Replace O-rings. Moisten thread with compressor oil.

Separation point of refrigerant lines at rear air conditioning evaporator:  8 N.m

Unclip and detach air ducts (7)

Unscrew 4 bolts (6)

Remove rear air conditioning module (8).

Replace receiver/drier

Install in the reverse order.

NOTE:  After completing the operations correct engine coolant level. Perform leakage test.
