No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing when
handling fuel.

If fuel tank is full, pump out about 8 liters of fuel

Remove trim panel in trunk

Remove rear panel of fuel tank

Unplug socket (arrow) for fuel gage sensor (B4) and pressure sensor (only (USA))

NOTE:  Fuel gage sensor (B4) and pressure sensor form a single unit.

Open bayonet lock of fuel level gage sensor (B4)
Refer to Special Tool below

Take out fuel gage sensor (B4)

CAUTION:  Installation: Replace gasket (89/2). Oil to facilitate installation.

Install in the reverse order
