Prepare for chassis alignment check

2.1 Check vehicle level at the front axle via the spring link inclination

Model Series 215, Model Series 220 without 4MATIC

Clean test points on track control arm

CAUTION:  The wire (086b) to the sensor (086a) must be toward the center of the vehicle to prevent spurious test data from being
generated.

Position the test sensor (086a) between the cast supports on the track control arm and store the test data.

Measurement point 1 (left front)

Measurement point 2 (right front)

2.2 Check vehicle level at front axle via wishbone inclination

-

Model 220 with 4MATIC

-

Clean test points on lower control arm.

CAUTION:  The wire (086b) to the sensor (086a) must be toward the center of the vehicle to prevent spurious test data from being
generated.
