Front Rubber Bushing, Rear Axle Mount - Removal and Installation

DANGER:

-

Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform

-

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points
specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

CAUTION:

-

When working on the rear axle, ensure that the surfaces of all aluminum parts are kept free of scratches, cracks and indentations.
Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected

Remove rear axle.

CAUTION:  Secure axle carrier with tensioning strap to prevent it from falling down.

NOTE:  Do not remove rear axle from the assembly attachment.

Remove front rubber mount of the rear axle mount

NOTE:  Replace rubber mount.

Install in the reverse order.
