Fix roof sign wiring harness (36) in place in attached butyl cord pieces.
Ensure that the red color coding (see arrow) at the roof sign wiring harness (36) is positioned exactly at the end of the bracket (44).

Route roof sign wiring harness (36) as per pictures below wiper system to roof sign lamp intermediate connector (X40) above brake booster (42).

Connect coupling from roof sign wiring harness (36) to roof sign lamp intermediate connector (X40).
The roof sign wiring harness (36) must be routed such that it cannot be damaged by the wiper system.

Seal roof sign lamp branch-off line (7d) in vehicle's grommet (39) with MB body sealant.
