Component Identification

The contact surface for the illuminated door sill molding control unit must be dry and free of dust and grease (see shading in picture).

Connect supply wiring harness (20) to illuminated door sill molding control unit (19) and fix to prepared contact surface using double-sided
adhesive tape.

Route supply wiring harness (20) along on-board wiring harness over the right rear wheel well up to the cable duct to the passenger compartment
and fix in place with cable ties.

Do not damage supply wiring harness (20) by squeezing or pinching it.

Connect ground (22) of supply wiring harness (20) to ground in right rear wheel well (W54).
