2. Attach suitable strips of adhesive tape (arrows) and cut at upper edge of shaped rubber gasket on windshield (1).
3. Remove windshield (1) from body flange with aid of helper.

Special Tools

Aid of helper is required for positioning, aligning and prying out the windshield (1). Position suction lifting device in upper third of windshield (1). The
windshield (1) must be installed at an acute angle to the A-pillars, otherwise the installation operation is unnecessary difficult and the danger exists of the
windshield (1) heating against the body flange and being damaged. When aligning the windshield (1), check the gap (C) between the splinter guard strips
on A-pillar (4) and windshield (1) as well as the gap (C) between the roof splinter guard strip (3) and windshield (1) and adjust if required. It is
absolutely necessary to ensure that gap (C) is maintained, otherwise, the windshield (1) can be damaged.

1. Screw in screws (2) flush with tapping plate.
