Seat Latch Cable: Procedures

Front seat cushion and backrest cushion removed. See: Seat Cushion/Service and Repair

Control cable for inside backrest lock

Handle recess (1)

unscrew and remove.

Clamping nut on release handle

loosen.

Nut on pull sleeve

unscrew. When installing do not turn pull sleeve.

Control cable and pull sleeve

disconnect on release handle.

Cable straps on backrest 

open.

Control cable

unhook from locking mechanism and remove.

Control cable

install without play in opposite order.
