Removing, installing

If fuel tank is full, pump out about 8 liters of fuel

Disconnect connector (arrow) from fuel gauge sensor (B4)

Secure electric leads against slipping down

Unscrew sealing flange and fuel gauge sensor (B4)
Refer to Fuel Tank below
Float and lever-type sensor replaces immersion tube sensor

Remove hard top

Close soft top so that it is completely folded out of soft top compartment (1) and the soft top compartment cover (1) is still open

Take out fuel gauge sensor (B4)

Install in the reverse order

Replace O-rings
NOTE: Oil to facilitate installation
