Use a support with soft foam steering wheels

If the holder is installed for a long period, pressure marks on the steering wheel are avoided.

2. Check center position of steering gear and steering wheel

The steering gear is in the center position hen the marking lines (arrows) are above each other.

Offset the steering wheel by a maximum of one tooth if necessary

3. Install, remove wheel spreader (030) on the inside of the wheel in the forward direction of travel

The flexible mount of the wishbones results in a correspondingly large toe-in value which reduces to the correct dimension in the
ready-to-drive condition

4. Adjust toe-in by rotating the track rods (10) 

-

Observe swivelling range of the track rods.

Specifications: 0°20' ±10'

5. When adjustments are complete, tighten as follows:

-

Holder: 20 Nm

-

Clamp: 50 Nm
