Adjusting Steering Gear In Vehicle

Remove tie rod at pitman arm

Remove drag link at pitman arm

Remove combined tie rod and drag link at pitman arm

Assemble support (042a) on steering wheel, mount torque wrench (042b)

Determine friction torque of the steering gear by slowly turning the steering wheel from stop to stop several times.

Adjust friction torque of the steering gear
