Function

The switchover valves for the side nozzle flaps in the valve block (Y11) can be actuated by turning the side nozzle adjustment dials.
The side nozzle flaps are open when vacuum is not present.
This means that vacuum is not present at the side nozzle vacuum elements (46, 47) and the side nozzle flaps are opened. Potentiometers are attached to
the side nozzle adjustment selectors. Feedback potentiometers are located on the side nozzle vacuum elements (46, 47). These feedback potentiometers
indicate to the automatic air conditioning pushbutton control module the momentary flap position.

Vacuum Element For Center Nozzle Flap

The center nozzle flap vacuum element actuates the center nozzle flap and opens or closes the air supply to the center nozzle.
