Removing And Installing Rear Spring
DANGER:

Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform

Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by
the vehicle manufacturer.
NOTE: Springs; general background information.

Raise vehicle.

Remove rear-suspension switch for rollover bar.

Remove track control arm shield (72c).

Remove transverse link (69).
NOTE: Installation: Replace self-locking bolt (69a, 69b).

Unsnap wire for brake-pad wear indicator from track control arm (72) (arrows).

Vehicles with ASR Code 471
CAUTION: Installation: Ensure that wiring harness is properly routed

Install clamping plates (01b, 01c).

Raise track control arm (72).

Raise until the rear halfshaft is almost completely horizontal.

Install spring compressor (01a).
