AR67.20-P-2000-05RBS Install Rear Window

- with CODE (P99) Special model "AMG Black Series"

Special Tools

Install heated rear window (R1) within 10 minutes after applying adhesive bead before adhesive force of adhesive material starts to decrease.
Open a side window in the vehicle to prevent the heated rear window (R1) from being pressed outward by air pressure when the door is closed.
Clamp assembly wedge as installation aid between roll bar and inner side of roof so that roof does not bend toward inside when inserting heated rear
window (R1) and then loading.

1. Position both cup suction tools on heated rear window (R1).

Suction lifting device.

2. Center heated rear window (R1) above window cutout on body flange with aid of helper and then position to coincide with strips of adhesive tape

(arrows).

3. Position heated rear window (R1) on adhesive bead and press on until it makes contact with rubber window spacers and rubber lip.

The curing time (drive-away time), from the time the heated rear window (R1) is installed, is approx. 6 h.
