Repair Materials

The bonding area (A) on the rear side window (2) must be absolutely free of dust and grease to prevent paint adhesion problem of the adhesive material
when installing window.

1. Check surface of rear side window (2) for scratches and damage, replace if necessary.

Perform following steps 2, 3, 4 and 5 only when using new rear side window (2).

2. Clean bonding areas (A and B) on rear side window (2).
3. Apply activator included in repair kit to bonding areas (A and B) on rear side window (2) and rub dry with dry cloth.
4. Coat bonding area on rear side window (2) with primer stick from repair kit.

Allow primer to air-dry for a minimum of 10 minutes.

5. Coat bonding area (B) on rear side window (2) with primer included in the repair kit (width approx. 3 to 4 mm)

Allow primer to air-dry for a minimum of 10 minutes.
Perform following steps 6 and 7 only when using previously installed rear side window (2).

6. Cut off remaining adhesive material on rear side window (2) down to maximum height of 2 mm using a scraper. Remove adhesive material

residues.

7. Repair damaged primer layer on rear side window (2) with primer included in repair kit.

Allow primer to air-dry for a minimum of 10 minutes.

8. Uniformly apply window sealant in assembly joint of sealing frame (1).

Cartridge gun

9. Install sealing frame (1) on rear side window (2).

Sealing frame (1) must terminate approx. 2 to 4 mm (dimension a) below top edge of rear side window (2)
